2022-2023 UL Engineering Day Field Trip

The Student Chapter of the Louisiana Engineering Society at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, working with the College of Engineering, organizes the Engineering and Technology Expo activities during the Spring Semester of each academic year to celebrate the important role of engineering and technology in meeting the present and future needs of society.

The activities are designed to engage students, faculty, alumni, and the community in interesting events which showcase the engineering and technology professions and increase interest in and appreciation of the complex ways in which engineering and technology impact the world around us. The E&T Expo highlights opportunities in Engineering and Technology for High School students.

Each student who is registering for this field trip MUST ALSO REGISTER VIA THIS LINK for the expo.

  • WHERE:  College of Engineering | University of Louisiana at Lafayette
  • COST:  $5.00 for the bus PLUS money to purchase lunch
  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  3/22/2023 8:00:00  (we will hold a strict cut-off deadline.  Student who do not register prior to 8:00 a.m. on 3/22 will be unable to attend)

By completing this purchase, you agree that: ● you give your child permission to attend the field trip; ● you grant permission for your child to travel on a bus secured by CHS and driven by an appropriately licensed driver; ● you grant chaperones permission to seek medical treatment for your child if needed; ● you understand that the trip fee is non-refundable. If your child cannot attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstance, we cannot refund any fees as all are paid in advance.
